چکیده
This paper describes Vista, a visual multiparadigm programming environment. We introduce the notion of processors and networks and discuss their application in the construction of event-driven and data-transformation systems. Further, we give an overview of Vista's object-oriented architecture.

Concepts and Architecture of Vista - a Multiparadigm Programming Environment
This paper describes Vista, a visual multiparadigm programming environment. We introduce the notion of processors and networks and discuss their application in the construction of event-driven and data-transformation systems. Further, we give an overview of Vista's object-oriented architecture.
متن کاملRelationship Between Neuropsychological and Physical Environmental Perception in Patients With Dementia and Alzheimer Disease
Objectives The current study examines the features of the physical environment affecting environmental perception and tries to explain paradigm of architecture based on the neuropsychological features. This paper investigates the relationship between the two aspects of the physical and neuropsychological environment in the patients with dementia Alzheimer’s type in order to meet the needs of th...
متن کاملProgramming Paradigms as Object Classes: A Structuring Mechanism for Multiparadigm Programming
The word paradigm, is used in computer science to talk about a family of notations, that share a common way for describing program implementations. Since each paradigm is well suited for solving only a range of problems, ideally a large system should be subdivided into components, each of which should be implemented in the most appropriate paradigm. Multiparadigm programming, allows the program...
متن کاملFocus: Multiparadigm Programming Focus: Multiparadigm Programming Focus: Multiparadigm Programming
AT THE FIRST software engineering (SE) conference in 1968, Doug McIlroy introduced the concept of software components during his keynote speech, “Mass-Produced Software Components.”1 That components hold such an esteemed place in SE history should come as no surprise: componentization is a fundamental engineering principle. Top-down approaches decompose large systems into smaller parts—componen...
متن کاملLogic programming in the context of multiparadigm programming: the Oz experience
Oz is a multiparadigm language that supports logic programming as one of its major paradigms. A multiparadigm language is designed to support different programming paradigms (logic, functional, constraint, object-oriented, sequential, concurrent, etc.) with equal ease. This article has two goals: to give a tutorial of logic programming in Oz and to show how logic programming fits naturally into...
